Is Chénjìn right for my level?
Chénjìn is built for intermediate learners, roughly HSK 3 to 7. If you're just starting out, the graded reader, games, and dictionary are still useful, but most of the library assumes you can already read basic sentences.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan requires no card and never expires. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime from Settings.
What do I get on the free plan?
Three articles a day, a complete graded reader, the full dictionary popup with stroke order and word families, flashcards for up to 100 cards, the games hub, and trophies.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The Android app is on Google Play, and the iPhone app is in open beta through TestFlight. Your account, progress, and flashcards sync between web and mobile.

Yes. Choose Anki as your flashcard destination in Settings and every word or sentence you save goes straight to your own Anki deck through AnkiConnect. If you skip Anki, the built-in FSRS flashcard system schedules your reviews instead.
I'm coming from Mandarin Blueprint. Can I import my progress?
Yes. Set your Mandarin Blueprint level (1 to 88) in Settings and Chénjìn instantly marks every word the course has taught you through that level as known, over 13,000 words across the full curriculum. Article difficulty, familiarity scores, and recommendations then match where you are from day one. Raise the level as you progress to add the new vocabulary; lowering it never removes words you've learned.
